North Attleboro, Mass. - After picking up Player of the Week honors from the Northeast 10 Conference on Monday, Michael Durnin was named the Division II Player of the Week by USA Lacrosse Magazine on Tuesday. 

Durnin was the team's point leader as No.1 Adelphi took down No. 2 Saint Anselm in overtime Saturday in the DII game-of-the-year to this point. He netted five goals on six shots and was responsible for two helpers. His fourth quarter goal with 3:47 left was the equalizer that ultimately sent the game into an extra period.

Adelphi went on to win in OT after Braden Donnellan's game winner in the closing minutes.

The Cats host Molloy University in non-conference action at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and will hit the road for a 2:00 p.m. meeting with Assumption on Saturday, April 11.
