Garden City, N.Y. - On Thursday, May 5 the Northeast-10 announced their all-conference selection and senior Shay Craig was named to the 2011 All-Northeast-10 Conference second-team, as voted on by the conference's head coaches. Fellow senior Leighann Bell was a third-team selection, along with sophomores Emily Dorko and Jeanine Leo and freshman Katie Andrews.

Elyssa Boris of UMass-Lowell was named Player of The Year, while Merrimack's Kelli Jo Deardorff was honored with Pitcher of the Year accolades. Tanya Robidoux of Assumption was selected as Rookie of The Year and her Head Coach, Ralph DeLuca earned Coach of The Year status.

Craig was selected to the second-team at third base and leads the team in hits with 58, RBI at 33, runs with 34 and doubles with 13. She also has a .603 slugging percentage and a .431 on base percentage. Leo earned third-team status as a shortstop with her .336 batting average, 26 RBI, 23 runs, 39 hits and nine home runs, while posting a fielding percentage of .926.

Emily Dorko, a third-team selection in the outfield, is tops on the team in stolen bases with 34, which is third on the single season list. The speedster also boasts a .317 batting average with 24 runs scored and 45 hits to go with a .331 on base percentage.

Both of Adelphi's starting pitchers earned third-team status. Bell leads the team in wins with 15 and has struck out 148 batters in 163.2 innings of work, posting an ERA of 2.52. Teammate Andrews has a team low ERA of 2.05 to go with her 11 wins, 158 strikeouts in 140.1 innings of work.

The Panthers return to action on Friday, May 6 in the double elimination portion of the Northeast-10 Championship hosted by Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
