Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi field hockey has announced the dates for the 2026 Nike Field Hockey Camp.

The summer camp will begin on August 3 and conclude on August 6.

The four-day camp offers a half-day package for ages 7-10, beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 12 p.m. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. on day one in the lobby of the Center for Recreation and Sport, while check-in for days two through four will take place at Motamed Field.

The "Sticks for Starters" program is designed for players who are just starting out or are new to the sport of field hockey. Campers will get a jump-start on their stick work, learn fundamental concepts and build a solid foundation from a highly skilled staff in a fun and encouraging environment.

A second package will be offered for ages 8-18, featuring a full-day schedule beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding at 3 p.m. Lunch will not be provided, as campers are encouraged to bring a packed lunch, snacks and a reusable water bottle each day. Snacks will also be available for purchase (cash only).

The "All Skills" program is geared toward players of all abilities. The camp includes stick work instruction and skills, technical and tactical training, offensive and defensive skills and positioning work. Goalie-specific training will also be available.

This past season, the Panthers finished with a 12-6 record, while ranking as high as No. 10 nationally. The Cats also made an appearance in the NE10 semifinals, before falling in a double-overtime battle.

The Brown and Gold welcome new head coach Margaret Maclean who brings a wealth of coaching experience to Garden City, most recently serving as the head coach at the University of New Haven before being appointed the new leader of Adelphi's field hockey program.
