Garden City, N.Y. — It has been an incredible season for the Adelphi men's and women's tennis programs, with both capturing Northeast 10 regular season and conference championship titles

Between the two teams, there were two NE10 Players of the Year in Katarina Liedbeck and Louca Bertone and 14 all-conference honors.

Both Panther squads were selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament. The Adelphi women's tennis team is the No. 2 seed in the East Region, and will take on the host, No. 3 Jefferson in Philadelphia. In the prior matchup between the two, the Cats won a close 4-3 match. Adelphi earned the doubles point and came out with the victory after singles wins from Zuzanna Witkowska, Roisin Boyd and Genesis Beltran.

The Panthers currently hold a 17-5 record and went undefeated in conference play. This was the fifth conference title for Adelphi as they have now made the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season.

The Adelphi men's tennis team who has now won three consecutive conference titles, was selected as the No. 3 seed in the East Region and will take on No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas in Sparkill. The last time the teams faced off, the Spartans won 5-2 in Garden City.

Led by Bertone, the Panthers will look to earn an NCAA Regional victory in consecutive seasons.
