Manchester, N.H. — After a solid team showing at the ITA East Regional over the weekend, head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Adelphi men's tennis team returned to conference play on Friday afternoon for a tilt with Southern New Hampshire.

The No. 3 duo of Pau Valles and Jorge Alcalde Miragaya got off on the right foot, winning the first match of the day, 6-4. Unfortunately for the Panthers, the Penmen rallied and took the No. 1 and No. 2 flights to earn the first point of the day.

With momentum on SNHU's side, the home team went on to take five of the six singles matches to win, 6-1.

Andrea Albiero was the lone Panther victor, winning his No. 2 singles match, 6-4, 6-2.

The Adelphi men's tennis team will return to the court next Saturday, the 24th, for its home opener against Assumption.
