North Attleboro, Mass. – Adelphi University's Emma Priest was named the Northeast 10 Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Priest helped the Panthers to a 4-2 record over the past week, extending her hitting streak to 10 games. She recorded at least one hit in all six contests, going 13-for-22 (.591) while scoring five runs and driving in five. On the week, she tallied two doubles, two triples and a home run.

During a midweek matchup against SCSU, she posted a three-hit performance against the Owls. Over the weekend, the freshman recorded two or more hits in three of four games. That stretch was highlighted by an impressive 4-for-4 performance with four RBIs, finishing just a double shy of the cycle in an 11-3 win over Saint Michael's on Sunday.

Defensively, Priest has maintained a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on the season. Over the last week, she recorded 12 putouts and added an assist.

Priest and the Panthers return to action on Wednesday, April 29, welcoming Caldwell University to campus for a doubleheader set for a 2:30 p.m. start.
