Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Athletics Department continues to grow its corporate sponsor program in the food and beverage sector by adding another established national brand, bartaco.

Coordinator of Athletics Engagement and Special Events John Curto has announced the partnership following a successful collaboration with bartaco at the Athletics Spring Employee Appreciation game last week.
 
"Bartaco has expressed interest in supporting the remaining athletics events this year and next year's promotional events," said Curto. "It is a pleasure to bring in yet another prestigious partner to our program and I am looking forward to incorporating their brand within Athletics and the Adelphi community."
 
As part of the Roosevelt Field Mall Restaurant Collection, bartaco is located minutes from Adelphi. This coastal inspired restaurant is known for their fresh hand-crafted tacos, flavorful rice bowls, upscale street food, all made with high quality ingredients. Their food menu is complimented by a selection of tequilas, craft cocktails and freshly squeezed juices.
 
With valid Adelphi ID, students, faculty and staff of Adelphi will be able to enjoy a free small trio from bartaco, which includes, chips portion of hand-mashed guacamole, spicy red salsa and spicy green salsa with charred veggies and tomatillos. As part of the one-year agreement, bartaco will now be recognized during home contests as an official sponsor of the athletics program through live public address announcements and webcast reads on Adelphi's online broadcast network on FloSports. Signage will be provided to them in the Center for Recreation and Sport and Motamed Field. Bartaco will continue to be on site at Adelphi home games throughout the remainder of the year and will be heavily involved with on-site activations next year.
