Garden City, N.Y. — After an important victory over Assumption last Wednesday that propelled the Adelphi men's tennis team into first place of the Northeast 10, Viktor Hockl has been named the conference Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Hockl earned two key victories in the match, first clinching the doubles point for the Panthers with a 7-5 win in the No. 1 flight alongside Thomas Horsley. In the No. 2 singles match, Hockl took care of business with a swift 6-1, 6-2 victory over Luca Figueiredo.

The Panthers are currently in action on the Adelphi tennis courts in a battle with regional foe and nationally ranked Queens College.
