North Attleboro, Mass. – Adelphi softball's Jenna Plue was honored as the Northeast 10 Pitcher of the Week following her outstanding performances.

Plue delivered three gems this past week for the Panthers.

On Wednesday against Southern Connecticut State University, she tossed a career-high 11 innings while setting a new career high in strikeouts in an Adelphi uniform with 14.

Over the weekend, she delivered back-to-back complete-game shutouts against Saint Anselm College. On Saturday, she went the full seven innings, striking out 11 and allowing just three hits. The following day, she limited the Hawks to just two hits while striking out eight in another complete-game effort.

Plue and the Panthers return to action on Tuesday, April 14, when they take on Pace University. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
