North Attleboro, Mass. — The Adelphi baseball team had a successful weekend, earning a series victory over Southern Connecticut State. Zach DeMilt was once again red hot at the plate and, for the third time in as many weeks, was named the Northeast 10 Rookie of the Week.
In five games, DeMilt went 10-for-18 at the dish, driving in six runs and scoring eight as the Adelphi leadoff hitter.
The freshman is now hitting .429 on the season, second in the conference only to teammate Johnny Catuosco, who boasts a .430 batting average.
The Adelphi baseball team will be back on the field Wednesday at 3 p.m. when it hosts Pace at William J. Bonomo Field.
