White Plains, N.Y. — The Met Basketball Writers Association has announced its All-Met Division II awards for the 2025–26 season, and the Adelphi men's basketball team was once again represented.

For the second season in a row, Dayshaun Walton was named First Team All-Met, while Jarnel Rancy was named an All-Met Honorable Mention.

Walton, named to the first team in back-to-back years, also picked up First Team accolades from the NE10. In his final collegiate season, the senior once again proved himself as one of the region's top players. Walton was Adelphi's leading scorer and second-highest assist man, averaging 15.5 points and 3.3 assists per game. He also recorded 40 steals, shot 39.8% from three, and 81.7% from the free-throw line. Walton etched his name in the Adelphi record books, as he is the fifth-leading scorer in program history with 1,795 points.

Rancy was named the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, while also earning Second Team All-Conference and All-Defensive Team honors. Leading the country in blocks (105) and blocks per game (3.75), Rancy finishes his collegiate career as one of the best Division II defenders in history. The senior became Division II's all-time blocks leader on January 31 at Saint Anselm with his 456th career block. That number finished at 485, 30 more than the previous record. On the offensive side of the ball, Rancy was a key playmaker for the Panthers, averaging a career-high 6.4 points and 2.4 assists per game. His 59.8% field goal percentage was the sixth-highest mark in program history.
