Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University Athletics Department has added another franchise to their growing list of sponsors, announced on Monday.

Coordinator of Athletics Engagement and Special Events John Curto has announced a new partnership with a local burger joint, known as Wayback Burgers.

Located minutes from Adelphi University in the Cherry Valley Shopping Center on Hempstead Turnpike, Wayback Burgers offers a wide variety of menu options, including burgers, chicken sandwiches, fried pickles, milkshakes, and more. Be sure to visit their website at www.waybackburgers.com for exclusive offers and to sign up for their rewards program for a free classic burger with your first $10.00 purchase. Additionally, Adelphi community members can receive 10 percent off their bill by showing their ID. 

As part of the two-year agreement, Wayback will now be recognized during home contests as an official burger sponsor of the athletics program through live public address announcements and webcast reads on Adelphi's online broadcast network on FloSports.

Signage will be provided to them in the Center for Recreation and Sport and tabling opportunities will also be available during home contests at Adelphi.

This season, Wayback Burgers will also be the title sponsor of the first youth promotion of the spring at Youth Softball Day on Saturday, March 28.

Wayback Burgers is located at 512 Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.
