North Attleboro, Mass. – Adelphi University's Lily Kenney earned Northeast 10 Pitcher of the Week honors following her dominant series against American International College, as announced Monday afternoon.

During a six-win week for the Panthers, Kenney picked up a pair of victories, both against the Yellow Jackets.

In her first matchup against AIC, she went the full seven innings in the circle, tying her career high with eight strikeouts. During the performance, she held the opposition to just one hit and one walk, using only 86 pitches en route to the win.

The following day, Kenney notched her second complete game against the conference foe, allowing just one earned run while striking out six batters, helping the Panthers secure the series sweep and extend it's win-streak against the Yellow Jackets to 35 games.

Earlier in the week, the junior also came out of the bullpen during both games of the team's doubleheader against Bridgeport, totaling 3.1 innings of scoreless softball.

Kenney and the Panthers return to the diamond on Wednesday, March 25, with a trip to the campus of Wilmington University (Del.). The non-conference tilt is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
