North Attleboro, Mass. — John Carver delivered the best outing of his career on Saturday afternoon and was recognized by the league office on Monday for his performance.

Earning his first Northeast 10 Conference Pitcher of the Week award, Carver struck out a career-high 15 batters over eight innings in the baseball team's 8–5 win over Assumption.

Carver ranks fourth in the NE10 with 31 strikeouts this season in just 19.1 innings pitched.

The Adelphi baseball team returns to action Tuesday at 3 p.m. when it hosts Dominican at William J. Bonomo Memorial Field.
