Boston, Mass. - Several personal bests highlighted a weekend of competition for Adelphi University track and field as they competed at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, hosted by Boston University.
Men's Highlights:
- Deven Bernardin ran the NE10's best 800 time during the open event, placing fourth in his heat and 50th overall in a time of 1:55.77. Teammate Jack Coyne ran the league's second best time with his 1:55.92 which placed him 54th in the field.
- Maxwell Krapf's mile time of 4:18.65 is number two in the NE10 as Chris Leonard also moves into the top-10 with his time of 4:25.71.
- The men's 4x400 relay of Sam Gorelik, Bernardin, Noah Mach and Jack Riegger clocked in at 3:35.57 which ranks third among times in the NE10 thus far this season.
Women's Highlights:
- Marissa Haye was the top Adelphi finisher in the 60 meter dash open, clocking in at 8.23 to place 21st overall.
- Brianna McGowan lowered her 200 time to a new personal best of 27.16 from the first meet of 2026.
- Joanna Weber also shaved time off her indoor 800, using a 2:28.39 to set a new personal best.
- In the mile, Caleigh Hopkins set a new career mark, taking five seconds off her time from Jan. 16, to clock in at 5:20.70 which ranks inside the top-10 in the conference.
Adelphi will send athletes to the Scarlet Knights Open on Feb. 6 and to the Deschriver Invite at East Stroudsburg University on Sunday, Feb. 8.
