Mansfield, Mass. — After a successful weeken taking down regional foe Jefferson and picking up a conference win over Franklin Pierce, the accolades rolled in for the Adelphi men's tennis team as Viktor Hockl was named the Northeast 10 Player of the Week while Leo Silverston earned Rookie of the Week. 

Hockl went undefeated against Jefferson on Monday, earning a 7-5 win with Andrea Albiero in doubles and then a 6-3, 6-3 victory in the no. one singles match. He nabbed two key victories as Adelphi's no. one singles player (7-5, 6-1) and no. three doubles duo with Elouan Boyer (6-2) to help the Panthers defeat Franklin Pierce in their first matchup since the 2024-25 NE10 Championship. 

Silverston and Spyridon Papageorgiou made quick work of Jefferson's no. three doubles team with a 6-1 win before Silverston won a battle in his no. six singles match, 4-6, 6-3, 10-8. On Saturday, he helped clinch the first doubles point of the day for the Panthers in the no. two flight with Papageorgiou in a 6-3 win. 

The Adelphi men's tennis team will return to the court on Friday for the ITA East Region Championships at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing
