Oceanside, N.Y. – The Adelphi University women's golf team competed in the One Day at the Bay event this past Friday, taking on Hofstra University at the Golf Club at Middle Bay, where Nikola Truhlarova was named the individual champion.

All 10 Panthers teed off in the event, led by Truhlarova, who shot a two-over 74 in the single round of play. The freshman recorded two birdies on the day, including a clutch putt on the par-5 18th hole—measuring 511 yards—to secure the win.

Finishing a few spots behind in fifth place was Filippa Schulze Doering. After a shaky front nine, she bounced back with birdies on holes 11 and 13, finishing at six-over (78).

Rounding out the top 10 finishers were Ivory Drusch, Lauren Jaskier, and Jenny Kim. Drusch claimed sixth place with an eight-over 80, carding birdies on holes 11 and 15. Jaskier placed eighth at 10-over, highlighted by a birdie on 18, while Kim was tenth at 13-over with a birdie on hole 3.

Cat Slade (+14) and Alyssa Sul (+19) both opened their rounds with birdies on hole one, finishing 11th and 15th, respectively. Adaline Ochoa and Ellie Ferris finished 13th and 14th, with Ferris closing strong by birdieing hole 18.

Head coach Bill Bresnan and the Panthers return to play on Sept. 30 at the Northeast 10 Championship, held at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown, N.H. The tournament concludes on Oct. 1.
