Garden City, N.Y. — It has been a successful 2024-25 campaign for both the Adelphi men's and women's tennis and as it was announced on Monday night, it will continue even further. 

Both Panther squads were selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament. The Adelphi women's tennis team will be the #5 seed in the East Region, hosted by New Haven, and take on #4 St. Thomas Aquinas on Monday at 12:00 PM. 

The Cats currently hold a 10-6 record and had their entire starting lineup named to all-Northeast-10 teams. Adelphi has now made the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season after finishing runners-up in the NE10 Championship this year. 

The Adelphi men's tennis team, riding high after back-to-back conference titles, was selected as the #4 seed in the East Region and will take on #5 University of the District of Columbia on Friday at noon in Flushing, N.Y. 

Led by three-time NE10 player of the year Marko Jovanovic and NE10 rookie of the year, Andrea Albiero, the Panthers will look to improve upon their already 16-5 record against the Firebirds. In their lone matchup this season, Adelphi took down UDC 5-2, sweeping all three doubles matches and with Jovanovic, Albiero, Louca Bertone and Spyridon Papageorgiou all earning singles wins.
