Norman, Okla. - After his showcase freshman season, Adelphi University freshman
Mitchell Archer has been selected to the 2025 NCAA Divsion II PING East All-Region Team, the organization announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The DeWitt, N.Y. native capped off his rookie campaign this past weekend by helping his men's golf squad to a ninth place finish at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional.
Archer's success didn't wait one minute, as he won his first ever collegiate tournament at the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational after tallying a one-under 69 in the final round. With that under his belt, he won the individual crown at the NE10 Championships a month later, with the team earning a runner-up finish in the process. The honor earned him his third consecutive top-five finish.

Francis Lanuza took home the win, he started off his spring season tying for second at the Saint Anselm Florida Invitational to start his spring season. The Jamesville-DeWitt High School graduate garnered a four-under 68 in the opening round.
Two top 15 finishes, one of them being at an all Division I tournament hosted by Long Island University, solidified his stellar rookie year.
