Mansfield, Mass. - For the second time this academic year, Adelphi University women's golf sophomore
Filippa Schulze Doering has won Northeast-10 Player of the Week, announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon.
This comes as a response to the Malta native capturing her second individual championship, and her first of the spring season. Schulze Doering won on the backing of two rounds of two-over 72 golf. Both of her rounds stood as the best set of 18 on the course that day.
Her 144 across 36 holes stand to be her best two-day score of the season, clearing her closest competitor by six strokes.
"A great way to end the year with Filippa's second NE10 Player of the Week. It shows her consistency throughout the entire 2024-25 season," said head coach
Bill Bresnan.
Bresnan and his team now enter the offseason, with the Hartford Spring Invitational proving to be their final of the season. Stay tuned to AUPanthers.com and @AdelphiGOLF on Instagram and X for updates regarding the fall season towards the end of summer.
