Garden City, N.Y. - As April showers and cold weather continue to disrupt playing conditions, the Adelphi University softball team has announced changes to three contests against Assumption University (4/16), Southern Connecticut State University (4/17) and University of New Haven (4/19). 

Frigid temperatures will force another postponement with Assumption after the original scheduled date of Sunday, April 13. Instead, the teams will try another midweek affair next Tuesday, April 22. The action from Worcester, Mass. will start at 2:30 p.m.. 

Projected rain in the weekend forecast has also impacted games against the Owls and Chargers. The rescheduling of New Haven's games to Thursday, April 17 will force the doubleheader against SCSU to now be played on Friday, April 18 with the same start time of 2:30 p.m.. 

Saturday's original home bout with New Haven is officially moved to a 2:30 p.m. start time on Thursday.
