Softball Announces Dates for Panther Youth and Prospect Camps

Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University softball program is excited to announce the dates for the upcoming Panther Youth Camp and Panther Prospect Camp this summer on campus.

The Panther Youth Camp is designed for players of all skill levels who want to learn, grow and have fun in a positive and energetic environment. Campers will work on hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, pitching and overall game fundamentals while being coached by Adelphi staff and student-athletes.

Whether your athlete is brand new to the game or looking to sharpen her skills, this camp is a great opportunity to build confidence, make friends and develop a love for softball.

Panther Youth Camp
Dates: July 14-16
Location: Janet L. Ficke Field
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Grades: 2nd-6th
Cost: $320 (electronic payment only)

Adelphi softball Prospect Camps provide a great opportunity for athletes looking to learn about all aspects of the game and more about being a student-athlete at Adelphi University. Participants will have the opportunity to be coached by the Panther coaching staff, including 2026 Northeast 10 Coach of the Year Katie Apostolopoulos, as well as current Adelphi softball players.

The camp will cover offensive, defensive, baserunning, pitching and in-game instruction in a fast-paced, elite learning environment. The registration form can be found above, with more details below. 

Panther Prospect Camp (ONE DAY)
Date: Monday, July 27
Location: Janet L. Ficke Field
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Grades 9th-12th
Cost: $150 (electronic payment only)

All participants are asked to bring softball equipment, including softball pants, cleats, helmet, bat, glove and proper footwear, as well as a water bottle and snacks.

This past spring, Adelphi finished as the No. 2 seed in both the Northeast 10 Conference and NCAA East Region. The Panthers concluded the season with a 37-23 overall record, while earning five All-Conference selections and three All-East Region honorees.
