3/25/2025 9:00:00 AM

New Orleans, LA - All-Region honorees for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season were announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and features six Adelphi University student-athletes.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. Despite no trips to the NCAA Championship for the indoor season, four men and two women were recognized with All-Region accolades.

On the women's side, Valencia Beaubrun and Amari Johnson won individual gold medals at the 2025 Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship, in the long jump and 60 hurdles, respectively.

Johnson's 8.59 was second best among the region and although her 8.59 was an NCAA qualifying time, she ranked 28th across NCAA Division II - narrowly missing out on a chance to attend the national championship. Beaubrun's leap of 5.71m was fifth in the region and 58th in Division II.

For the men, Andre Francis and David Williams led the way with their respective gold medals, as Jake Orfano and Bryan Combary were also recognized. Despite a time of 8:48 at the indoor championship meet, Orfano's best time of the season (8:39.87) saw him rank fifth among East Region competition. Combary put up a time of 8.27 at the NYU DIII Invitational that put him fifth overall in the region.

Williams, the NE10 Track Athlete of the Year earned gold in the 60 hurdles, posting a prelim time of 8.12 - a new Adelphi record - and clocking in at 8.17 in the finals.

Francis catapulted his way to the top of the podium with a launch of 17.26m at NE10s ultimately ranking fifth in the East Region region.

The program will open the outdoor track and field season where all six indoor medalists look to improve upon their 2024 finishes. The team will be split between the Ramapo Opener and Monmouth Opener starting Friday, Mar. 28.
