Oceanside, N.Y. — After opening up their spring season the day before, the Adelphi men's tennis team was quickly back in action on Saturday afternoon when they played host to Boston University at the Point Set Tennis Club. 

The #1 Panther doubles team of Marko Jovanovic and Rodrigo Ochoa set the tone for the day, taking the first match 7-6, 6-4. Louca Bertone and Andrea Albiero would fall in a close match, 4-6, but the 'Cats earned the doubles point thanks to a forfeit. 

BU took the first match of the singles portion of the day, but Adelphi battled back. Jovanovic evened it up with a #1 singles victory and the Panthers were off and running. 

Spyridon Papageorgiou won the first collegiate match of his career, 6-2, 6-1 and Reece Farrow followed that with a three set win himself, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. Andrea Albiero sealed the deal with a victory in a tightly contested #3 match, 5-7, 7-6, 7-5 and Adelphi won 6-1. 

Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Panthers will return to the court on Saturday to play Chestnut Hill at 12:30 p.m.
