Boston, Mass. - A smaller group from the Adelphi track and field program went to the annual Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational over the weekend, ahead of the conference championship.
Women's Highlights:
- Marissa Haye was responsible for personal bests in the 200 and 400, posting times of 26.04 and 1:00.60, respectively.
- Teammates Sanai Springer and Eva Gonzalez each had career-best performances in the 400 with times of 1:03.81 and 1:00.79.
Men's Highlights:
- Paul Garraway-Paul finished 17th overall in the 200, with a new personal-best time of 22.07.
- Nicholas Nanan was .90 off his PR in the indoor 800, clocking in at 1:55.95.
- Also competing in the 800 and posting a new career-best time was Jack Riegger who cut the tape in 1:57.34.
Adelphi takes on the NE10 Indoor championship at the Track at New Balance in Boston, Mass. starting on Saturday, Feb. 22.
