NE10 Reveals Outdoor Track and Field Coaches' Polls

4/2/2026 3:00:00 PM

North Attleboro, Mass. - With the season underway, the Northeast 10 Conference office released the results of the 2026 Outdoor Track and Field Coaches Polls on Thursday. The Adelphi University men's squad earned enough points to sit third as the women landed fourth in a vote by the head coaches.

The Southern Connecticut State Owls were selected by the conference head coaches to sweep the outdoor titles - SCSU received all 15 available first-place votes between the two polls. For the full results, see below.

The Adelphi men's squad is coming off a historic finish for the indoor season, that saw them earn the Runner-Up trophy for the first time since joining the league in 2009-10. They were anchored by first year, Jabari Holder,  who was tabbed the Most Outstanding Field Performer and was one of three athletes to earn a share of the overall Men's Most Valuable Performer award. He was also named the NE10 Indoor Field Athlete and Rookie of the Year. He becomes the second student-athlete in Adelphi history to be named the NE10 Indoor Field Rookie of the Year, following in the footsteps of Kevin Nalisa (2019). The Panthers also had a Track Rookie of the Year in Felipe Custodio from the 2017-18 season.

On the women's side, Adelphi trailed SCSU, Saint Anselm and SNHU in the poll, collecting 39 points. The Cats finished fifth in the indoor season and return several podium finishers from a year ago. Eva Gonzalez, Marissa Haye and Valencia Beaubrun held down the gold-medal finish for Adelphi at last year's outdoor championship, as Beabrun also seeks to finish on the podium in the long jump after placing third last season.

After a small squad opened at the Ramapo College Inivitational, majority of the Cats will head to the All-American Invite, hosted by East Stroudsburg University on Saturday, April 4. A small contingency who qualified for the Sam Howell Invite will head to Princeton on Saturday as well.
