Orlando, Fla. - Kayleigh Goodrich becomes the first athlete to repeat as D2CIDA Women's Soccer National Player of the Week for her performance from September 29 - October 5. The junior from Hicksville, New York, continued her standout season with three goals and two assists, helping the Panthers to another perfect week.
Goodrich netted two goals in Adelphi's 8-1 rout of Caldwell on Tuesday, then added a goal and an assist on
Madison Apicella's game-winner in Saturday's 2-1 road victory over Bentley. The forward tallied 15 shots, including nine on target, across the two matches. She continues to lead the Northeast 10 in both goals and points while ranking among the nation's top three in each category.
National Players of the Week are selected by a volunteer committee of Division II Conference Information Directors from a pool of nominations submitted by conference offices.
