Garden City, N.Y. — Interested in learning what it takes to play for the Adelphi women's soccer program?
A one-day Spring ID Clinic is set for Sunday, May 10, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for interested athletes between the ages of 14 and 18. Check-in will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Motamed Field main gate.
The cost is $125 per person, and credit cards are accepted.
The clinic, which will take place at Motamed Field, is designed for those considering playing soccer at the collegiate level, as well as for those looking to learn concepts unique to the Adelphi women's soccer team.
All players will receive individual skill instruction from the Adelphi coaching staff, including two-time Northeast 10 Coach of the Year Brooke DeRosa, along with current members of the Adelphi women's soccer team.
This past fall, the Panthers, who were ranked as high as No. 17 in the nation, finished with a 10-6-1 record and had six All-Conference selections, two All-East Region honorees, and one All-American.
All attendees must register in advance and complete a waiver form.
