Garden City, N.Y. – After an impressive 2025 campaign for both Madison Apicella and Kayleigh Goodrich, the two offensive weapons for the Adelphi women's soccer team have been named to the D2CCA All-East Region First Team.

The pair, who were also named First Team All-Conference, tallied for 19 goals and 31 assists for the Panthers – accounting for over half of the team's overall points. 

Apicella ended her season with eight goals, 13 assists and 29 points. The senior set career-highs in all three categories and is in a tie for the Division II lead in assists. Apicella scored a highlight reel game-winner in the Adelphi's Northeast 10 quarterfinal victory over Southern New Hampshire.

Goodrich set career highs in goals (11), assists (eight) and points (30). Her 11 goals led the team and is second in conference while her 30 points led both Adelphi and the NE10. The junior scored a hat trick in a win over Holy Family and had two two-goal games in wins over Southern Connecticut State and Caldwell. 

Both Apicella and Goodrich are now eligible for D2CCA All-America Consideration.
