Garden City, N.Y. – Madison Apicella had quite the season for the Adelphi women's soccer team, as the accolades continue to roll in.

Last week, the Holbrook, N.Y. native was named a D2CCA Second Team All-American, the first All-American honor of her career. 

Apicella ended the 2025 campaign with eight goals, 13 assists and 29 points. The senior led the country in assists per game (0.76) and tied for the Division II lead in assists, a career-high, while also setting career bests in goals and points. The 13 assists are tied for the third most in a single season.

For her career, Apicella now stands with the third most assists (26) and game-winning goals (12), tenth most goals (30), and is in a tie for the seventh most points (86) in Panther history.

In addition to the two national awards, Apicella was named First Team All-Northeast 10, First Team All-Region and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, while earning a 3.66 GPA in physical education.
