10/23/2025 9:00:00 AM

Garden City, N.Y. – Head coach Sade Jackson and the Adelphi University women's basketball team have announced their schedule for the upcoming season.

Last season, Jackson's squad made a run at the conference title, highlighted by an appearance in the NE10 semifinals.

The squad welcomes seven new members to a young team that features just two seniors.

The Panthers will open the season on the road in an exhibition game against Fordham University on Monday, Nov. 3, with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

The Brown and Gold will serve as hosts for the NE10/CACC Conference Challenge starting on Friday, Nov. 14. Game one of the tournament features a 4:00 p.m. meeting with Caldwell University, followed by a match up with Dominican University on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 1:00 p.m.

Conference play for the Panthers begins on Wednesday, Dec. 3, when they welcome American International College to Garden City for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.

Adelphi will then spend a large portion of its campaign on the road, playing six of its next eight contests away from Garden City. Mixed in will be a home contest against Saint Anselm University on Sunday, Jan. 4, to open the new year at 1:30 p.m.

The month of February features four home games for the Panthers, as they host Assumption (Feb. 4), Saint Michael's (Feb. 7), Southern Connecticut State (Feb. 18), and Bentley (Feb. 21) — last year's NE10 and East Region champion. The midweek contests are set for 5:30 p.m., while the weekend games are set for 1:30 p.m.

The team will wrap up its regular season on the road in Springfield, Mass., on Tuesday, Feb. 24, facing the Yellow Jackets for the second time.

The NE10 Conference Tournament will begin on Sunday, March 1, and conclude on Sunday, March 8, with the highest-seeded teams hosting throughout.
