North Attleboro, Mass. - For the second time this season, Adelphi University sophomore
Autumn Moore has been named the Northeast 10 Defensive Player of the week, announced by the league office on Monday.
Despite a 1-1 week for Adelphi, Moore still produced 5.25 digs per set, totaling 42 over two conference matches. In addition to her defense, she supplied the offense with over one assist per set, accounting for nine assists last week. She also added four service aces - including three against Bentley.
The Panthers will host Molloy University in non-conference action on Thursday, Oct. 16 before returning to league action on Saturday, Oct. 18 against Saint Anselm. The first 50 students at Thursday's contest will receive the fall giveaway item, a panther branded croc charm.
