Mansfield, Mass. —  After an incredible 2023 season that resulted in an NCAA regional championship and the Adelphi University women's soccer team being just two wins away from a national championship, the Panthers not only were ranked fourth in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll but also have been selected to finish first in the Northeast-10 Conference by the league's eleven head coaches, following Tuesday's rankings announcement.

Led by NE10 defensive player of the year Morgan Salmon, third-team all-NE10 goalkeeper Krista Aliscio along with some offensive help from Kayleigh Goodrich, Alexis Hellman and Gia Mandile the 'Cats capped off the year with a 15-4-5 record that included a fourteen-game unbeaten streak.

Mandile led the team with eight goals followed by Goodrich, Hellman and Madison Apicella who all had six.
