Northborough, Mass. - In addition to earning Academic Honor Squad recognition, the Adelphi University women's lacrosse program had nine individuals named to the Academic Honor Roll, announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday. 

The IWLCA honored 524 student-athletes from 72 different institutions on the 2024 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. 

Juniors Danielle Becker, Kristen Birney and Nicolette Giordano earn the recognition for the first time in their Adelphi careers (as it was the first season they were eligible). 

Danielle Marino and Fiona Rafferty complete their time in Adelphi uniforms as three-time honorees while Jenna Iavaroni picks up her second nod. Also included for the first time were seniors Madison Pappas and Tamia Lawson, alongside graduate student Courtney Carollo.
