Staten Island, N.Y. - In a tournament of five Division I institutions, the Adelphi University women's golf team took home a fourth place finish at the Wagner Fall Classic, hosted at La Tourette Golf Club.

The Panthers only played 18 holes where they tallied a 54-over 342. This was a 21 stroke advantage on Saint Joseph's University (Pa.) and only five strokes behind third place La Salle University and second place Hofstra University combined. Host Wagner College took home the trophy with a score of 28-over 316.

Sophomore Lauren Jaskier continued her impressive fall season, tabbing her second top-six finish in as many tournaments, with a 10-over 82 that was capped off by two birdies. Fellow second-year standout Filippa Schulze Doering would slot in at 17th, shooting a 14-over 86.

Ivory Drusch and Jenny Kim tied each other for the last two to make up the team score, both coming in at 19th after shooting just a stroke more than Schulze Doering.

Adaline Ochoa rounded out the Panther scorecard with an 18-over 90.

Head Coach Bill Bresnan and Adelphi will round out their fall schedule with a trip to University of Hartford on Monday, October 28. The 'Cats will compete in the Battle at Bull's Bridge held at Bull's Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, Conn.
