West Haven, Conn. - With more rain expected to douse the tri-state area this weekend, the Adelphi University women's tennis team is now slated to travel to University of New Haven on Sunday for an 11 a.m. contest.
As the 'Cats were originally scheduled to play at Molloy on Sunday, the Panthers and Lions have shifted that match to Monday, Oct. 16 at 2:30 p.m.
Beginning on Sunday, Adelphi will play five matches in eight days to close out its NE10 slate. The Brown and Gold are set to host three of those matches -- including Wednesday's Senior Day tilt against AIC at 12 noon.
Upon returning home from New Haven, the Panthers will have a quick turnaround to prepare for Monday's 10 a.m. Morgan's Message match with Assumption University.
Tee-shirts will be sold at the courts that morning for $20, in support of the cause. Payment may only be made by cash or credit card.
