Northborough, Mass. -  The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has honored 128 student-athletes in Division II with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2023, including three from Adelphi women's lacrosse.

Kerrin Heuser and Alexandra Beebe were both chosen to the East Region First Team while Isabelle Grant represented the Panthers on the Second team, the association announced on Wednesday.

These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2023 All-American teams on May 18.

Beebe and Heuser were both Northeast-10 First Team selections, with the former reigning as the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year. She ranks 18th in NCAA Division II in caused turnovers per game with 2.00 and in 18 games has recorded at least one in every game but two contests. Heuser ranks second on the team in total points (47) while ranking third in caused turnovers (21). She registered a point or better in every game but one including a career-high seven point contest against American International.

Earning Second Team honors was Grant, who leads the Panther offense in points with 51. The fifth year has also accumulated 72 draw control wins this season, ranking in the top 100 across Division II this season with an average four per game. Grant and Heuser both earned their 100th career point in the Adelphi win at AIC.

Adelphi women's lacrosse remained alive in the postseason despite bowing out in the semifinals of the NE10 tournament. They will take on Le Moyne on Friday, May 12 for the last time in history (as a D2 program), as the Dolphins announced their reclassification to the Division I Northeast Conference earlier this afternoon.
