Storrs, CT - It was a performance for the record books over the weekend as
Matthew Wenz represented Adelphi University at the UConn Northeast Challenge, competing in the decathlon.
Wenz put up a score of 6,189 in the decathlon place seventh overall with new personal bests in the high jump (1.93m), discus (41.04m), and the 1500 (5:22.33). His point total is best in the NE10 after the weekend and is a new Adelphi school record.

Kyria Moore's top hammer throw of the weekend of 54.67m earned her ninth and is four meters off her personal best from the season which has her leading the conference with just a few weeks left til the outdoor championship.
Members of the team will compete this weekend at the Virginia Challenge and the Rider Invite.
