Garden City, N.Y. - Come learn from one of the best throwers to ever do it at Adelphi!

In her only season with the Panthers in 2022-23, Kyria Moore set indoor school records in the shot put and weight throw, and outdoor records in the discus, shot put and hammer.

Along with twice being named an All-American, Moore earned USTFCCCA East Region Indoor Field Athlete of the Year and NE10 Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year honors.

Now, Moore -- as an assistant coach with the Adelphi track and field team -- is instructing novice and experienced throwers this fall with three Saturday clinic offerings, scheduled for Nov. 4, Nov. 11 and Nov. 25.

Designed for ages 11-and-up and open to all ability levels, the clinic will focus on the fundamentals of throwing and developing the technical aspects of the throw for all implements.

Each session is priced at $50 apiece, with a discounted rate of $125 for all three clinics. Registration may only be made in advance, as no walk-ins will be admitted.
