Hudson, N.H. - The Adelphi University women's golf team maintained a third-place finish on Sunday and Monday at the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational at Green Meadows Golf Club.

The Panthers shot a 44-over 644 at the two-day tournament, while also carding the second-lowest averages on Par 3 and Par 5 holes amongst the field.

A steady two-day outing by Ilaria Ponziani led to a tie for seventh place with an 11-over 151. She collected four birdies and maintained an average score of 1-under on par fives, tying with teammate Emily McKenna.

McKenna tallied four birdies on the second day, en route to a 19-over 159 and a 15th-place finish.

Alexis Cokinos carded a two-day score of 170 and tied for 29th place, alongside teammate Amy McCaffrey.

McCaffrey completed her tournament play with a 30-over 170, along with sustaining an even score on par fives.

Hannah Trinh finished in 32nd place with a score of 172, two strokes behind teammates Cokinos and McCaffrey, respectively.

The Brown and Gold will travel to Guilderland, N.Y. to compete at the Saint Rose Invitational, which will be played at Pinehaven Country Club.
