Garden City, N.Y. - On Saturday, September 10, Adelphi University and the Department of Athletics will celebrate 75 years of men's basketball with a cocktail reception on campus in the Thomas Dixon Lovely Ballroom of the Ruth S. Harley University Center.

The cost of the event is $75/person and will feature food stations and beer and wine to accompany select speakers and a slide show of men's basketball photographs from Adelphi's archives. If you are interested in sharing any images you have from your time playing for the Panthers, please feel free to submit via email to adelphiathletics@adelphi.edu. 

There will be an event journal to commemorate the milestone where ads can be purchased in support of the event, the program, players and teams. Adelphi men's basketball branded gear will be available for purchase and a collection of media guides, gear, and memorabilia will be on display throughout the ballroom.

The Adelphi men's basketball program has won over 1,100 games in the past 75 years and has threee NCAA Regional titles from 1964, 2001, and 2002. The Panthers have also earned 18 trips to the Division II Tournament, after winning six East Coast Conference titles from 1996-2007 and one Northeast-10 Conference championship since joining the league for the 2009-2010 season.
