West Chester, Pa. - The Adelphi University men's golf team competed at 2022 Edwin Cottrell Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, Pa.

The Panthers placed ninth overall, posting a combined team score of 641 across the two day tournament. Adelphi put up a score of 328 on day one, and 313 on day two.
 

Adelphi was led by freshman Mason Rivera who had a two-day combined score of 150, good for eighth overall in the tournament. Rivera shot a 3-over 74 on the back 18, that was his lowest round of the season. 
 

Andrew Brunozzi came in 20th overall and was the second highest scoring Panther with a two-day score of 156 (77-79).
 

Sparky MacLean and Luke Bucci finished two points away from each other, and finished in third and fourth for Adelphi, respectively. MacLean finished with a 169 (82-87) while Bucci earned a score of 171 (90-81).

Rounding out the scoring for the Panthers was Thomas Fasano, who finished the competition with a score of 179 (95-84).

Indiana University of Pennsylvania earned the top individual and team awards. The team score of 600 was enough to beat out West Chester's who had a 603 for first place in the competition.

Adelphi will return to action on Apr. 15-16 for the St. Joseph's Spring Invitational at the Bellport Golf Club in Bellport, N.Y.
