Mansfield, Mass. - The one constant remains in the NE10 men's tennis landscape in 2021-22.
For a fourth time this season, Adelphi University men's tennis player
Marko Jovanovic has been named the NE10 Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
As a result, Jovanovic becomes the first four-time NE10 Rookie of the Week since Merrimack's Jonathan Garcia in 2019.
The freshman standout lost only three games last week in singles competition, which included a straight-set decision over the East's No. 6 ranked singles player, Franklin Pierce's Felipe Carvalho.
Jovanovic's efforts of late have helped catapult the Panthers to four wins in their last five matches. His nine dual victories at No. 1 singles lead all players in the conference.
The Panthers are next in action Saturday (Apr. 9), when they travel to Bentley University for a 1 p.m. first serve.
