Oceanside, N.Y. — Taking a break from conference play, head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Adelphi tennis team hosted Division III Baruch at the Point Set Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
The doubles portion of the day was a clean sweep for the Panthers.
Thomas Horsley and Viktor Hockl won their No. 1 flight, 6-2.
Spyridon Papageorgiou and Louca Bertone were victorious at No. 2, 6-4.
Matias Hoyos and Leo Silverston dominated in a 6-0 win.
In singles play, the Panthers won four of the six matches, clinching a 5-2 victory.
Bertone was a winner at Adelphi's No. 1 position, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2.
Papageorgiou won his No. 2 match, 6-3, 6-1, while Leo Silverston recorded a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
Elouan Boyer finished the day with a solid 6-2, 6-2 win.
The Adelphi men's tennis team will be back on the courts on Wednesday when they take on Queens.
