Charlottesville, VA - The trio of Amari Johnson, Gabrielle Griffin and Alexis Roth traveled to the University of Virginia over the weekend, to compete at the Virginia Challenge. 

Johnson placed 28th overall in the 100 hurdles event, crossing the finish line in 14.47 seconds - just .02 off her personal-best time of 14.45. She still ranks third among Northeast-10 Competition for her time at the Bison Classic from last weekend and is fifth overall in the East Region. 

Roth and Griffin placed 34th and 36th, respectively in the 400 hurdles race - clocking in just over a second apart from each other. Roth's career-best time in the race came at last year's NE10 Outdoor Championship, where she just missed the podium in a time of 1:04.92. Griffin's time of 1:04.01 from last April still stands as her career-best as she came in at 1:07.36 over the weekend.
