Emerson, N.J. - The Adelphi University men's golf team traveled to compete at The Charger Challenge on Tuesday, hosted by Dominican College.
The two day tournament was shortened to one day due to inclement weather, and was played at the Par 71 Soldier Hill Golf Course.Â
The team finished with a total score of 319 for a seventh place finish out of nine teams.
Junior
Andrew Brunozzi was the top finished for the Panthers with a 6-over 77 to land in a tie for 16th. Two strokes behind Brunozzi was teammate
Mason Rivera with a score of 79.
Thomas Fasano (81),
Alec Ramos (82)Â and
Luke Bucci (83) all finished within one stroke of each other to round out the scoring for Adelphi.
The Panthers will take the course again Apr. 4-5 at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational hosted by West Chester University.Â
