Orlando, Fla. - The Adelphi University men's golf team finished off their fall season with a tenth-place finish at the McDonough Cup which was played at the Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, Fla. this past Monday and Tuesday.

The contest consisted of ten teams, including Le Moyne College who also represented the Northeast-10 conference.Â
The Panthers finished up their tournament with a two-day overall score of 920 (307-302-311) and placed in tenth.
Playing in his hometown and coming in a tie for 43rd place was sophomore
Alec Ramos who carded a 10-over 226. He capped off an average of 2-under on par 5, and an average of 3-over on par 3.
Senior
Filip Wetterqvist tallied a 13-over 229 finishing up in a tie for 49th place. He collected 32 pars and seven birdies, tying teammate Ramos in the process. With a tie in 53rd place, sophomore
Mason Rivera notched an 18-over 234 in his two-day play.
The freshman
Johnny Solari carded a 19-over 235 finishing up in a tie for 55th place, only one stroke behind teammate Rivera. Senior
Andrew Brunozzi carded a 28-over 244, notching a 62nd-place finish.Â
In their fall debuts, senior

Thomas Fasano, and sophomore
Kobe Currie concluded their tournament play with a two-day overall score of 242, 257, and 262, respectively.Â
The Brown and Gold completed their fall season and look forward to coming back once again in the spring.Â
