Syracuse, N.Y. - The Adelphi University men's golf team finished in fourth place out of sixteen teams at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational on Friday at the Par 71 Bellevue Country Club.
The Panthers were sitting in fourth after Day 1, and ultimately held their spot due to the second round being canceled on Saturday as a result of inclement weather.
Freshman
Mason Rivera ended the tournament in a tie for fourth place after shooting a 2-over 73, making par on 14 of the 18 holes to lead all players.
Alec Ramos was just one stroke behind teammate Rivera in a tie for seventh place with 11 pars.
Also contributing the Panthers team score of 301 were
Luke Bucci and
Andrew Brunozzi with scores of 76 and 78, respectively.
Rounding out the scoring for the Brown and Gold was
Nicholas MacLean with an 86.
Adelphi will close out it's fall season this Friday, Oct. 22 at the St. Joseph's Invitational at the Bellport Country Club.
