Oceanside, N.Y. -- The Adelphi University men's tennis team got back on the winning track on Tuesday, as the Panthers defeated Bentley, 6-3, in Northeast-10 Conference play.
A doubles sweep helped the Panthers (7-3, 5-1 NE10) grab control of the match, with David Robres de Vecia and
Connor Dove winning a tiebreak at the third flight, 7-5 to claim the set 9-8(5) and cap the sweep.
The Brown and Gold victory was then keyed by its top three singles players, as Uladzislau Litvinchuk rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 2;
Roey Heymann edged a two-setter, 6-4, 6-4 at No.3 and
Matteo Cannavera rallied from dropping the first set by losing just one game from there, 3-6, 6-0, 6-1.
