Denver, Col. - After defeating Northeast-10 Conference rival Le Moyne on Thursday in the NCAA Semfinal round, the Adelphi University women's lacrosse team seeks the program's eighth National Championship this afternoon with a 4:00 pm ET/2:00 pm MT Championship game against Florida Southern at the Regency Athletic Complex in Denver.

The game is scheduled to be aired live on NCAA.com. Additionally, fans can follow along within the "Gamecenter" on NCAA.com for all stats and social media.

The Panthers (21-0) and the Mocs (18-3) have faced each other one time already this season, the second game of the 2016 season for both programs. Adelphi came out on top with a 16-10 victory at Florida Southern on Monday, February 22. Senior Emily Keesling set a career-high with eight points in the contest behind six goals and two assists along with three caused turnovers. Meanwhile, Jacqueline Jahelka posted five goals and assist while Michele Scannell notched nine draw controls.

The Brown and Gold are also looking to complete the second three-peat in program history. With a victory, the eighth National Championship in team history will continue to add to the most by a program in Division II history. LIU Post is in second with four titles.
